what this looks like in my business…
each month I create 4 long-form (aka core) pieces of content that are linked to ONE lead magnet that drives sales to ONE offering.
I take each core content and break it down into 5 micro content pieces for platforms like instagram, tiktok and pinterest.
the goal is that my micro content attracts new dreamy clients into my fold and drives them to my core content, which encourages them to download my freebie lead magnet, and brings them onto my email list for that specific offering, which eventually leads to a CONVERSION.
don’t be overwhelmed by this…start SMALL. pick ONE product to focus on, ONE offering to highlight, and perfect your messaging and lead magnet for this ONE thing.
a huge mistake I see small business girlies make with their social media strategy is trying to talk about ALL THE THINGS you have to offer.
..no babe…
social media is your top of funnel, we don’t need to know everything you do in one post. spend time perfecting your messaging for ONE offering, ONE product, ONE lead magnet, and then expand…this doesn’t mean that you can’t still have a full product/service suite..it just means that you’re content marketing and social media strategy is focusing on getting really good at selling ONE thing before expanding out.
personally, I use this worksheet every single month when I’m planning out my content, and you should too! stop creating short form content based on impulse and reactivity and start having an actual strategy babe! you and your business deserve to know why you’re spending time on your marketing efforts!
